Nokia Phablet Coming Soon

I’m a big fan Nokia Windows Phone Fan!

This recent news about an upcoming Nokia Windows Phablet has got me The FCC has approved Nokia’s plan to come out with a new 4G-enabled tablet which may end up being called the Lumia 2520. The documents and images released from the FCC filing provide little in the way of details but based upon various reports, we do have a pretty good idea of what the Lumia 2520 will be like.

Nokia World, Nokia’s largest annual event, will be held on October 22 and with the timing of the FCC filing and the information leaks, we can likely expect a Lumia 2520 announcement during the event.

Along with the Lumia 2520, Nokia will reportedly come out with six devices in total, one of which will be the long awaited Lumia 1520 smartphone. EVLeaks has been behind the little bits of information that we do have about the other four devices, but the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 2520 appear to be the center of attention.

Nokia’s new tablet will support multiple 4G bands as well as GSM/HSPA+ meaning that the 2520 should work on all three major carriers, Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. However, Nokia has historically worked with single carriers to release new devices meaning that the Lumia 2520 could end up being an AT&T exclusive.
